Here’s how it actually works.
Does it really work without internet?+
Yes. Windows and Android each keep a local SQLite database. You can open the app and save core records without internet; Android also works without a PC. Email, online address suggestions and online maps need a connection.
Is $299 a subscription?+
No. AUD $299 is the one-time licence price for HiveLedger, the service-business toolkit on this page. There is no monthly software subscription. HiveLedger POS is a separate retail product for AUD $499 once.
How does HiveLedger sync the phone and PC?+
Put your Android phone and Windows PC on the same trusted local network. Pair them using the Windows app’s six-digit code, then sync through the connection dialog. Each device keeps its own records. Conflicts may need review, and you should export backups before pairing devices that have been used independently.
Can I back up my data and take it with me?+
Yes. Export the database from Settings → Backups, including stored receipt and photo assets. Keep a copy on another drive. Invoices are available as PDFs, and bookkeeping reports support CSV and PDF exports. Export or sync Android records before uninstalling the app, as uninstalling removes its private storage.
Will it do my accounting and send invoices automatically?+
HiveLedger records income, expenses and tax details and prepares accountant reports and BAS worksheets for review. It doesn’t lodge a BAS. Email requires your SMTP settings and an internet connection; sending invoices and payment reminders is a manual action.
Can I buy it on this website now?+
This is a sample product website. The sample checkout lets you preview the $299 HiveLedger licence or $499 HiveLedger POS licence and download a sample order summary. It doesn’t collect payment details or place orders. Purchase processing will be added once the checkout approach is decided.
